What are you going to do with your old jeans this fall?

Vancouver’s Covenant House, a downtown charity organization that supports homeless youth on Vancouver streets, has put a call out for old jeans, sweaters, coats and shoes. If you have clothing that you know you aren’t going to wear again this fall/winter season, now’s the time to drop it off:

These aren’t kids who are too lazy to work. Covenant House is a charity supported by a former organization I used to work for. I was fortunate enough to tour their Drake St facility one Christmas. A lot of these kids are running away from abusive homes. They need donations in order to stay warm and dry now that the weather is turning.
