Weekend Update – Odyssey Closing, Big Rogers, Apocalypstic

First things first: did anyone catch my other boyfriend, Janko Tipsarevic, beating the snot outta Andy Roddick last night at the US Open?

3-6, 7-5, 6-3, 7-6, (7-4)… christ I love this guy’s game, the tattoos, the weird on-court safety glasses. EVERYTHING!

In other news, it’s Labour Day Long coming up and here are a couple events you should consider checking out.

1) The Final Boa Show – This is Joan-E’s farewell to the Odyssey and the final night before its doors close. Do not miss this one.

2) UNITED ft DJ Eddie Martinez – Big Roger Events is holding their annual Labour Day mashup at Gorgomish. I’m a huge fan of Eddie. Obviously.

3) Apocalypstic – With the Odyssey closing, the Cobalt seems ready to step into the O’s oversized, drag queen-sized shoes.
