Photographer explores alien beauty of male body in latest installation

Bertil Nilsson seems preoccupied with the mysteries of the dancer’s body.

The Sweden-born, London-based visual artist continues his work focusing on the beautiful and extreme bodies of dancers and circus performers in Naturally, a series currently on display in a Netherlands gallery, now featured on The Huffington Post.

The series features nude models, often decorated with chalky coloured powder, leaping and twisting in lonely, grand landscapes.

Another project, a collaboration with aerial hoop artist Bret Pfister titled Long Diamond, is, what I can only assume, a delightful, playful, video short with a punchline. Gorgeous work!
