Affordable and/or free Olympic venues

San Francisco social media wizard Rebecca Reeve (applause) twittered a link to the Vancouver Access 2010 site. Now if you haven’t checked it out, this is a huge social media collective that are “working on creating content related to the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver, Canada.”

Now there is a lot of information on this site. From Olympic Road closures (no this is not a sporting event and yes these will impact you: for real) to free/affordable Olympic attractions.

Here’s an excerpt from the latter article. I recommend you give it a read. Not LGBT specific per se, but still a good overview of what’s going to be happening in and around the city within the next month (the Heineken House sounds gooooood).
