Prize Winners for this year’s Vancouver Queer Film Festival:

Angelina Maccarone was honoured with $1,500 for Unveiled as the recipient of the Vancity enviroVISA People’s Choice Award for Best Feature.

Cal Garignan was awarded $5,000 in development funding and the possibility of a pre-licensing agreement with Citytv for his original script Waiting For Goliath in The CineCity-Out On Screen Script Competition.

Amey Kazymerchyk won a $500 cash prize for What Don’t You Understand About “I’m Leaving Again,” as the recipient of The Gerry Brunet Memorial Award for Best Short Film by a BC Director.
