Author Tanya Boteju talks with Xtra about her most recent book, Bruised, which follows the story of Daya, a young woman who finds community and a way to deal with grief through the queer world of roller derby. 

Bruised, out on March 23, is Boteju’s second book, after her acclaimed 2019 drag tale Kings, Queens and In-Betweens.
