Exploring the drag scene with Tanya Boteju

Tanya Boteju, a writer and teacher in Vancouver, wants her writing to speak to people who feel like they don’t fit. “I would never choose not to be part of this community … Kids need to know that that’s there for them,” she says. Her first book, Kings, Queens, and In-Betweens, comes out on May 7.
