Queer ‘Singles’ Euchre
It’s speed dating with a twist and it involves perhaps the sexiest game ever devised — euchre. For each game, you play with (and get to know) a new partner, and must play a minimum of five games. And take the definition of “singles” lightly; this night is for anyone looking to meet new people. Think polyamory, folks.

Season Launch Party
The local queer theatre is about to embark on another season of art, experimentation and silliness. While celebrating the new season, attendees can meet both the new resident artists and the winner of the Queer Emerging Artist Award, have a shot with Patricia and see lady bear Fay Slift do something to make your jaw drop. Back to Church: So You Think You Can Drag
Now and then, this recurring queer girl party gets all drag-happy — with the wigs and the fake sideburns — and holds a drag competition you won’t want to miss. Drag king Maddox and queen Natalia Rayne compete somehow or other for the audience’s enjoyment, and DJ Delicious will spin hip hop, house, top 40, mash-ups and more.

Steers and Queers: Dolly After Party
Everyone’s favourite country drag queen is in town, and we’re not going to pass up this opportunity. Now and then, the recurring country-themed queer party adds an extra theme: Dolly Parton. And she’s actually in town, so this edition of the bar night should be particularly nuts. It includes DJs, drinks and other Dolly-related stuff. Attendees are encouraged to come out in their best Dolly drag.

Queer and Trans Family Event: End of Summer Celebration
While everyone else is out flirting over euchre and dressing up as Dolly Parton, queer and trans families are over at the local community centre enjoying more wholesome activities. The Pink List
Each year the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) brings a slew of celebrities, glamorous parties and film premieres to town — and big swinging cock. Can’t forget the big swinging cock. As part of a week of TIFF-themed events, the all-male strip club hosts its 12th annual The Pink List party. It’s hosted by Chad Hudson and includes erotic performances, stripping and giveaways.

The launch party includes performances by Nathaniel Bacon and Keith Cole (who gets a submarine sandwich-related favourable mention in the memoir).
