Hopefuls take questions from panel, audience

On Nov 5, Xtra West hosted a community town hall for the municipal election, giving queers a chance to meet and grill the mayoral candidates.

The debate featured both Vision Vancouver mayoral hopeful Gregor Robertson and Peter Ladner, the NPA candidate. A panel of community activists included Little Sister’s co-owner Jim Deva, The Centre’s Jennifer Breakspear and former councillor Alan Herbert.
