Before my time at Xtra, I wrote speeches for Gordon Campbell. While working at the Public Affairs Bureau, I also wrote one speech for then-MLA Christy Clark. I’m excited to see what she will bring to the table for the BC Liberal party, and I’m grateful that Xtra journalist Jeremy Hainsworth was at an event last month with his camera:

Clark won the Liberal nomination last Friday by 56,600 votes.
