Anti-gay televangelist Pat Robertson doesn’t like to see photos of gay couples on Facebook.
“A couple of same-sex guys kissing, you like that? Well, that makes me want to throw up,” Robertson told his TV audience. “To me, I would punch ‘Vomit,’ not ‘Like’ . . . But they don’t give you that option on Facebook.”
Robertson made the comment on his popular television show The 700 Club, which draws about one million viewers each day. He also referred to a passage in the Bible that he says calls for gays to be stoned to death.
Robertson has never been shy about his sometimes hateful, sometimes whacky anti-gay views. In April, he compared gay-rights advocates to the Illuminati. In the past, he has compared gays and lesbians to rapists, thieves and murderers, and he warned that if the Boy Scouts lifted their ban on gays, it would open the door to “predators” and “pedophiles.”
