Straight guys reveal why they watch gay porn

I remember one night when a group of us were out for drinks, and I met this straight guy. He totally knew that I wanted him and seemed to enjoy that fact, so I decided to test the waters by hitting on him, and since the art of flirtation is lost on the gay community, I probably said something like, “Would you like a blowjob?”

He shut me down right away, then said, “But if you ever do porn, send me the link!” I don’t know why I was more stunned that a straight-identifying guy wanted to watch gay porn than the fact that he thought I might one day be in it, especially since my own taste in porn is more varied than my actual sexual experiences. I predominantly watch straight porn (imagining I’m the lucky bitch), so is it really so shocking that straight men might find something that turns them on by watching gay sex?

A Reddit user with the name father_figa asked the 160,000 subscribers to the reddit thread AskMen, “Do any straight guys watch gay porn as a fetish rather than an aspect of your sexual orientation?” and the anonymous confessions started rolling in. The Gaily Grind has compiled a collection of revelations from straight men who just really want to “watch a man rail another dude in the ass.”

father_figa:

“I think part of my deal is that I am dominant and submissive sexually. With my girlfriend, she likes me to be dominant so I am very assertive and commanding during sex with her. She is not very good at retuning the favor so my submissive side suffers from a lack of attention. During fantasy I make up for it and enjoy the idea of submissiveness and maleness mixed together. It can be intoxicating.

It is my guess that there is a lot of variation in the reasons why a straight male would choose to enjoy gay porn.

I probably view more in the range of 50/50 (Straight/Gay).”

Release_the_KRAKEN:

“I like the violence in some gay porn but I don’t watch it exclusively. I’d say its been awhile since I hit some up.”

SchizophrenicMC:

“On rare occasion, I watch gay porn because my dick tells me that’s what I want to be watching. I’m not gay, I just sometimes get this urge that says “watch a man rail another dude in the ass.”

elementality22 confessed:

“Fuck it, I’ll be the one dude to be honest, yeah I watch some gay porn. I find they are less fake about it most times, a lot less fake moaning and such.

I just tend to find a lot of gay porn is relevant to my interests in a way that some straight porn isn’t. I don’t like watching sloppy, gaggy blow jobs and on the whole gay porn has much cleaner bjs at least from what I’ve seen. It’s about 70/30 straight to gay watching. I don’t like twinks or super swole dudes. I generally watch college vids, hazing type deals, straight for pay, nothing with kissing/caressing. Just the sex please. I’ve never had any inclination for a male outside of gay porn, I like many other guys here were totally grossed out by it and it became this taboo in my mind and then I decided to just watch one and saw that it really wasn’t so bad. I’m sort of a voyeur in that regard and just like watching gay, straight, trans, whatever.”
