Westfest lineup announced

Queer Westfest founder Elaina Martin announced the lineup for this year’s always-free-and-fabulous festival at a media launch party March 22.

This year will act as a retrospective of the festival’s first 10 years. The roster includes queer musicians The Cliks, Amanda Rheaume and Lyndell Montgomery, of Captain Dirt and The Skirt. Additionally, Holly McNarland and Elliott Brood are set to appear.

But Westfest is not just about music. Poets like rob mclennan and artist Cara Tierney will also take part.

The festival will begin on a Thursday this year, adding an extra day of art and celebration.
