Validation, your new favourite trans web comic

At its best, the internet offers an opportunity to have your voice heard, share your talent and art with a wider audience, and experience the stories of others. (At its worst, the internet lets anonymous A-holes criticize all of that. Two sides of the same coin, really.)

In that regard, Christian Beranek and Kelci Crawford’s Validation is what happens when the internet gets it right. Beranek’s Validation is a webcomic about Ally, a transgender girl talking about her day-to-day life. The writing is tongue-in-cheek funny while still retaining a lot of heart, the art is is colourful and fun, and Ally’s voice is fresh and witty. Feel free to check it out and pass it along!
