Tina Simpson almost shot herself and Joe Simpson over gay affair

The Simpson family in the good ol’ days when Jessica Simpson was relevant, Ashley Simpson had her original nose, Joe Simpson was “straight” and Tina Simpson wasn’t homicidal.

Last year it was reported that the reason Tina Simpson had filed for divorce from her husband of 35 years (and former pastor), Joe Simpson, was because he was having an affair with a 21-year-old twink named Bryce Chandler Hill.

Tina allegedly found suggestive photos of Joe and Bryce together, as well as photos Joe had taken of Bryce in their Encino, California, home that exposed her husband’s homosexuality. Now a source tells Radar that Tina’s initial reaction at discovering the affair was to get trigger-happy. The source says that Tina wrote a suicide letter in which she ranted about how she was going to shoot herself, but not before she shot her cheating husband.

Tina supposedly left the note in the Encino home, where Joe found it, quickly handing it over to his lawyer.

From the source, Bryce Chandler Hill, who claims to be a “Simpson family friend”:

Tina was so distraught when she found out about Joe’s secret gay affair, she immediately wrote a suicide note. It was fairly detailed and she said she wanted to shoot herself for what Joe had done to their 35-year marriage. Worse still, Tina wanted to shoot Joe as well. She was just so angry with him. But, instead of killing herself, Tina headed straight to a New York hotel to confront Joe about Bryce Chandler Hill. However, when Joe returned to the Encino home in Los Angeles they shared, he found the note, made a copy and gave it to his divorce lawyer as a bargaining tool for the settlement.

I love how Radar is all like, “Exclusive! Tina almost shot Joe!” as if it’s breaking news that someone wants to shoot Joe Simpson. I mean, have you seen his frosted tips?
