Thousands hit the streets of Ottawa for the annual Capital Pride parade Aug 24.

Forecasts had previously called for rain and thunderstorms, but the weather was perfect for Ottawa’s biggest gay event of the year.

Following the parade, people packed Festival Plaza City Hall to check out community groups, hang out with friends and watch concerts.
