The mean girls are off-Broadway

After a successful run in Los Angeles, the musical version of the cult-classic Heathers is making its New York City debut this spring at New World Stages. The musical was composed by Legally Blonde’s Laurence O’Keefe and Reefer Madness’s Kevin Murphy.

Heathers is just one of the high school musicals coming to New York stages in the new year. Mean Girls and Jawbreaker are both in development as well.
