The local queer theatre’s annual art auction (and super fancy social event) returns with a camp theme (and you thought it couldn’t get any campier). There’s campfire songs, ’smores and more. With proceeds going back to Buddies, the event includes works by more than 25 Canadian artists. To view everything that will be auctioned off, click here.

CLGA Flashback Gala: Electric Circus
Wish it was still the 1990s? Me neither. But it might be fun to visit that decade for an evening. Each year, the Canadian Lesbian and Gay Archives throws a big, themed gala. This year’s event is Electric Circus-themed. It’s even hosted by Monika Deol, a TV personality who was a fixture on Much Music and CityTV in the ’90s.
6pm–2am. The Bram and Bluma Appel Salon, 789 Yonge St. clga.ca
Trade: Tom of Finland
This edition of the big, dirty, cruisy dance party includes a tribute to artist Tom of Finland, perhaps the most famous creator of gay erotic art. As such, attendees are encouraged to wear clothing reminiscent of Tom of Finland’s works. That means leather, chaps, harnesses, gloves, shiny boots and more. DJs Darren Dryden and Sammy Jo spin.
