Out in the city: March 19–25, 2015

Choice events in Vancouver this week

Thurs, March 19

Art Attack

What if you could have all kinds of interactive stuff to touch, wear and play with (and no, you’re not in the lost and found at Steamworks)? This is Vancouver’s newest interactive art show where you can win the art — all in a boozy, coconut-type place. 9pm–12am. The Waldorf, 1489 East Hastings St. Free admission. Search on Facebook for Art Attack at the Waldorf.

Sat, March 21

Out For Kicks

The thought of kicking balls brings grown men to their knees, unless of course they’re cheering for their favourite soccer team. Out for Kicks is Vancouver’s co-ed GLBT friendly soccer league with more than 230 members. Registration opens tonight for the upcoming summer season. 12–3pm. Pumpjack Pub, 1167 Davie St. outforkicks.ca

3rd Ring On The Harness

Kneepads, athletic cups, shoulder pads, facemasks . . . No, it’s not another Coronation Weekend. It’s the Best Sports Gear night, hosted by International Puppy 2015, Figaro. Get out your kinky gear and dust it off (but it is fetish night, so don’t clean it). 9pm. Pumpjack Pub, 1167 Davie St. $5 cover unless in gear. pumpjackpub.com

Mon, March 23

Nude Dude Yoga

Yes, it is exactly what you’re imagining, dangly bits and all. An hour and a half of hot naked men in poses you have only dreamt about. 7:30–9pm. Club 8×6, 1775 Haro St. $15 per session. nudedudeyoga@gmail.com

Tues, March 24

The Dog Pound

Seems to be a theme this week and it is not soft, fluffy kittens. Tuesday is the night for all furries and fetish enthusiasts from across the pansexual spectrum to come together in a sex-themed social playspace. 7–9pm. Club 8×6, 1775 Haro St. Cover TBA. 8×6.ca

Wed, March 25

Easter Bonnet

Easter is the one time you can pick up a basket full of eggs and not have to run to the clinic! Celebrate early with Chief 37 Byron Longclaws as he presents his Easter Bonnet With Style. Wear your best bonnet and win a prize. 8–11pm. The Junction, 1138 Davie St. $5 cover, free with a bonnet. Junctionpub.com

: Man about town scurrying into every bar, restaurant, nook and cranny looking for all the details to post the events you want to see. Drop me a line if you want your GLBT themed event, meeting, social, gathering, play party, circle jerk, listed online or even if you are one short for your orgy. I always aim to please.....unless its your eye...ouch!!!
