Katy Perry is the freaking devil

Oh, look! Katy Perry has a new video out, and it’s (surprisingly) not terrible! No, really, it’s kinda cute.

Katy Perry’s “Last Friday Night” music video from Katy Perry.

Katy Perry totally pulls off the hapless dork bit, Rebecca Black is adorable (even if “Friday” does sound exactly like first-degree murder), and there are even cameos from Glee’s Darren Criss and Kevin McHale sans the wheelchair. It’s all super cute and fun… perhaps a little too fun. Honestly, I was all over this until… KENNY G.

I don’t know what it is about Kenny G that drives me up the fucking wall. Maybe it’s the hair. Maybe it’s the fact that, while growing up, I was constantly subjected to him, which manifested itself in a deep-seated hatred of adult-contemporary jazz saxophone. Hell, I didn’t even know it was possible to summon him without chanting Ph’nglui mglw’nafh Kenny G R’lyeh wgah’nagl fhtagn, but I guess Ive just been proven wrong.
