Danielle McClelland’s short film Barbie Boy, winner of the Alfred C Kinsey Award, is about a young boy who wants to play with dolls.
“After his father tells him dolls are for girls, 7-year-old Bobby goes on a personal journey to discover what he should be playing with,” the Vimeo discription reads. “Barbie Boy is about growing up, identity, and the delicate balance of letting go.”
