Xtra Hot: Basil

He knows how to work the stage

“I fell in love with the energy of Toronto, the streets, the buildings . . . there is art, music and diverse culture. I felt like I belonged here,” Basil says, describing how he was charmed by the big city after arriving from small-town Orillia. Passionate and romantic, he is turned on by confidence, and his ideal date includes “dinner, a movie, a walk and ice cream.”A member of Toronto’s HIM entertainment troupe, he describes working with athletes and performers with excitement. “A HIM man is confident, has sex appeal and knows how to work the stage. I work with a group of great guys who are down to earth, who like to have fun, and they put on a great show.”
