Nash Grier tries to (literally) kiss and make up with gay fan

As soon as Vine’s most popular user, Nash Grier, told his 8.7 million followers that AIDS is a “fag thing” the comments section of blogs starting filling up with people suggesting that Grier’s antipathy toward the gay community is classic self-loathing and closeted behaviour.

I can’t figure out if Grier’s latest stunt is an attempt to prove them wrong or right.

During an encounter with a gay fan, Grier was photographed giving him a kiss. The pic was then uploaded on Snapchat and Tumblr, with the fan writing,“To all the people complaining about Nash being a homophobic who’s against gays; He willingly kissed a boy just for a snapchat story on top of apologizing twice.”

I doubt Grier’s sincerity. He has a history of homophobia on social media, and so his complete turnaround from degrading gays to kissing them may just be so that the cheques he gets for hawking products in his Vine videos keep getting signed.

But since he’s puckering up for the gays now, he can certainly kiss my ass.
