Whitney Houston dead at 48

BY ROB SALERNO – Pop/R&B singer Whitney Houston was found dead in Beverly Hills yesterday afternoon. She was 48.

At this point, the cause of death is unknown but foul play is not suspected.

Houston’s huge voice will not be soon forgotten. Nor will her frequent tabloid appearances. Below are some of Houston’s best music videos.

The official Grammy Awards website has already confirmed it will air a special tribute to Houston featuring Jennifer Hudson during the awards ceremony, which airs on CBS tonight at 8pm.

Houston won six Grammy Awards during her career and was nominated 26 times. Her wins include Best Pop Vocal Performance Female for “Saving All My Love for You,” “I Wanna Dance with Somebody” and “I Will Always Love You,” which also won for Record of the Year. She took home the Grammy for Album of the Year for The Bodyguard Original Soundtrack and Best R&B Vocal Performance Female for “It’s Not Right But It’s OK.”
