True Blood’s Joe Manganiello talks about getting naked

No stunt penises used in new film, Magic Mike

Joe Manganiello, one of the hunky stars of the new stripper movie Magic Mike, is a natural when it comes to being naked on screen.

“I try to be naked as much as I can, as evidenced by my film and TV choices,” says Manganiello, who, as werewolf Alcide Herveaux on the HBO show True Blood, frequently shows his butt.

In Magic Mike, he goes even further. And Manganiello, who is appreciative of his gay following, promises that he didn’t use a stunt penis in the making of the movie.

Magic Mike opens in theatres on June 29.
