Supreme Court of Canada HIV ruling

Torontonians weigh in from the Church Wellesley Village

Xtra took to the streets of Toronto’s gay village to get people’s reactions to the Oct 5 Supreme Court of Canada decision regarding HIV criminalization and disclosure.

An Oct 10 meeting at Toronto’s 519 Church Street Community Centre will discuss the ruling. The community info session, organized by several community groups, starts at 4:30pm.

On occasion, the number of editors and other staff who contribute to a story gets a little unwieldy to give a byline to everyone. That’s when we use “Xtra Staff” in place of the usual contributor info. If you would like more information on who contributed to a particular story, please contact us here.
