Glamorous opening for Grace Kelly exhibit

Prince Albert on TIFF Bell Lightbox red carpet

Toronto is just a bit more glamourous following the opening of TIFF’s new exhibit, Grace Kelly: From Movie Star to Princess. The collection of artifacts provides a rare look inside the life of the Hollywood star, who gave up her acting career to become Princess of Monaco.

The multimedia exhibit was opened in grand style by Kelly’s son, Prince Albert, and his new wife, Princess Charlene.

The exhibit includes screenings of Rear Window, To Catch a Thief and Dial M for Murder. Also showing will be Icy Fire, an exploration of Alfred Hitchcock’s cool blonde starlets.

Kelly died in a tragic car crash in 1982.

The exhibit runs until Jan 22 at TIFF Bell Lightbox. For more information, click here.

On occasion, the number of editors and other staff who contribute to a story gets a little unwieldy to give a byline to everyone.
