Portuguese film The King's Body plays at VIFF

Xtra interviews João Pedro Rodrigues, director of The King’s Body. Xtra

Xtra interviews The King’s Body director João Pedro Rodrigues about his ode to the first (self-proclaimed) king of Portugal, who reigned in the 12th century.

The stories of our lives are written on our bodies, Rodrigues says.
