The Pink Awards will feature prominent LGBTQ2S+ celebrities and activists, known as “champions,” who will be paying it forward by honouring Canadian “changemakers”— organizations and individuals that are making a difference in their communities—with monetary awards.

The Pink Awards are being organized by Pink Triangle Press, Xtra’s parent company.

On occasion, the number of editors and other staff who contribute to a story gets a little unwieldy to give a byline to everyone. That’s when we use “Xtra Staff” in place of the usual contributor info. If you would like more information on who contributed to a particular story, please contact us here.
