Mike Chalut: What is your favourite gay travel destination?

The Proud FM radio host discovered theatre, shopping and boys with sexy accents

Whether it’s the bustle of New York or the Mayan ruins of Tulum, often one vacation spot resonates with us and becomes a favourite travel memory.

We asked 20 gay celebrities, business people and movers and shakers: What is your favourite gay travel destination?

“My favourite thing about being Canadian is that no matter where we go to explore, people are always so excited to welcome us. I love the sun, I love beaches, I love LA and I love NYC, but my favourite LGBT destination is London, England. There is just so much to do and see, and the Brits love Canadians. I am such a sucker for British accents. The nightlife is beyond fun. There are several hotels right in their village, behind Trafalgar Square. I love staying at the W hotel. The theatre, the shopping, the boys and the energy is a real royal experience! Put London on your bucket list — it is hands-down my favourite place to visit!” — Mike Chalut, host of The Mike Chalut Show on Proud FM radio
