150 guidebooks to Minneapolis-St. Paul were supposed to have been handed out to delegates from Virginia at this week’s Republican National Convention but they were recalled after an aide discovered the books had (horror of horrors!) a few pages on gay and lesbian nightlife. “We simply can’t hand them out,” said the aide, thereby forcing Republicans to stick to the airport bathroom stalls.

“John McCain’s Voice Mail to Sarah Palin” is hilarious! Last night, the Republican Vice-Presidential nominee gave a shrill, long-on-sarcasm-short-on-substance speech (complete with a typical putdown of San Francisco) but we were more interested in her daughter’s baby daddy: “fuckin’ redneck” Levi Johnston cleaned up so well, even McCain couldn’t keep his hands off him!
