150 guidebooks to Minneapolis-St. Paul were supposed to have been handed out to delegates from Virginia at this week’s Republican National Convention but they were recalled after an aide discovered the books had (horror of horrors!) a few pages on gay and lesbian nightlife. “We simply can’t hand them out,” said the aide, thereby forcing Republicans to stick to the airport bathroom stalls.

Elton John gets fed up with Lily Allen at a GQ awards show: “I could still snort you under the table” will be the next great catch-phrase!
