Lesbian couple humiliated by Parisian train conductor
A train conductor at the Gare du Nord in Paris halted a lesbian couple giving a goodbye kiss and shouted that the kiss “could not be tolerated.” The conductor was suspended by rail company Thalys, but one of the women is demanding a further apology and more training for staff. Complicating matters, Thalys is known for an inclusive advertising campaign featuring couples, including gay couples, reuniting.

Gay teen gets online support after father’s rejection
A teenager from Vancouver is receiving support online from around the world after he posted a text message exchange with his father in which he came out as gay, and his father said “this is worse than death.” The 15-year-old says his mother and sisters have been supportive, but his father has yet to come around.

Lesbian rabbi to lead US Jewish group
Lesbian rabbi Denise Eger will become the president of the Central Conference of American Rabbis, the rabbinical arm of Reform Judaism. Eger will be the first openly gay rabbi to lead an American rabbinical group.
