The BIA’s new board

BIA president Robert Graham has been re-elected for another two-year term on the board.
Also re-elected: Brinder Bains, owner of Cobbs Bread.
Newly elected: Mark Phillips, manager of Moxie’s restaurant in the gay village.
Mary Phelps of Vancity, David Buddle of Prima Properties and John Halani of Tropicana Hotel on Robson St all move into the second year of their two-year terms.
Leo Wilts, of Abasa Optical, is the newest gay member of the BIA board.
“This is my village and this is my place of employment,” he says.
“It’s a predominantly gay area. I do believe that it should be represented for that,” he adds.
