Still no arrests in Skinner murder case

Chris Skinner, you’ll remember, is the gay man who was murdered at the corner
of Adelaide and Victoria streets in the early hours of Oct 18, 2009. After
leaving a birthday celebration in the entertainment district, he was
beaten to the ground by a group of men who then got into a black SUV
and drove over him with both sets of wheels, killing him.

Read all about it here.

The killing shocked Toronto’s gay community and hundreds turned out days later at the corner of Church and Wellesley streets for a candlelight march.

Now, nine months later, a series of advertisements have appeared in Toronto’s subway system
touting the $125,000 reward for information leading to the conviction
of Skinner’s killers.

Police say there are likely several witnesses to the attack who have yet to come forward.

Those interested in contributing to the reward fund for Skinner are asked to send their donations to:

Warren Skinner in trust
195 Main St S
Newmarket, Ont

Anyone with information is asked to contact Toronto Police detective
Stacey Gallant at 416-808-7410 or Crime Stoppers at 416-222-8477
and Xtra at matt.mills@xtra.ca.
