Police say they have arrested two people in connection with a brawl that occurred at the June 30 PrideFest at the Seattle Center.

The Seattle Police Department blotter says bicycle patrol officers became “aware of a loud debate” near the 4th Avenue and Broad Street intersection, continued their patrol of the area but were called back to the intersection after a fight broke out between two groups of men.

The report says a man carrying a sign that read “Repent or Else” on one side had it ripped from his hands, then was punched by another man.

Two men, aged 22 and 36, were arrested.

The 22-year-old was later released, but the 36-year-old was booked into the King County jail. Officers have requested misdemeanour assault charges against both men.
