Straight men watch a lot of gay porn

According to a new study in the Archives of Sexual Behaviour, straight men watch a lot more gay porn than previously thought. Researchers found that a fifth of straight men watched gay porn in the past six months, while half of gay men watched straight porn.

In the UK, a trans person has been charged with sexually assaulting a partner by not disclosing their gender. Again. After a woman was convicted last year for tricking her friend into a relationship with a fictional man, a trans man has been charged for not revealing his identity.

Belarus blocks UN urban LGBT strategy

A UN strategy to develop and protect LGBT communities in cities around the world has been vetoed by a block of 17 nations led by Belarus. Canada had pushed to include LGBT issues in a non-binding resolution on the UN’s “New Urban Agenda,” but the document will now only suggest making cities “friendly for families.”

Indonesian couple arrested for kissing

A university student and an office worker were arrested in Indonesia Friday for posting a picture of themselves kissing on Facebook. The arrest is the latest in a crackdown on the Indonesian LGBT community by police.
