Father of murdered lesbian arrested in connection with crime

On March 7, lesbian couple Britney Cosby and Crystal Jackson were found murdered next to a dumpster in Galveston, Texas. Days later, an arrest has been made in the case.

According to Towleroad, James Larry Cosby, the father of Britney Cosby, has been arrested and charged with two counts of tampering with evidence. Apparently, police believe the murders took place in his house.

Family members are reportedly disagreeing on Cosby’s relationship with his daughter. Apparently, Britney Cosby’s mother claimed “that it was strained and that Larry Cosby had difficulty accepting his daughter’s orientation and relationship. Larry Cosby’s grandmother, however, said that he and his daughter got along just fine.”

So far, the charges remain at two counts of tampering with evidence, but depending on the police investigation, they could be upgraded to capital murder, which under US law would make Cosby eligible for the death penalty.
