Where’s the Canadian fucking? CRTC wants more Canuck porn

Let’s watch some porn, eh?

Three Toronto porn channels have been rebuked by the Canadian Radio-television & Telecommunications Commission (CRTC) for not airing enough Canadian sex.

AOV Adult Movie Channel, XXX Action Clips and the gay channel Maleflixxx are all failing to reach the mandated 35 percent threshold for Canadian content, which, based on a 24-hour broadcasting schedule, equates to about 8.5 hours. Coincidentally, 8.5 has always been my favourite number.

The reprimand was issued when Channel Zero tried to renew licences for the porn channels. According to the National Post, a regulator will review the “instances of apparent non-compliance” at an April 28 hearing in Gatineau, Quebec.
