Parents publish retraction on trans son’s gender 20 years later

In 1995 Elizabeth Anne Bogert’s parents ran an announcement that they had brought a baby girl into the world in the Brisbane Courier. Nineteen years later, Elizabeth identifies as male, so in a touching (and humorous) showing of solidarity, his parents submitted a correction for the original announcement published nearly two decades ago:
