LGBTQ Family Book Fair comes to Halifax

Venus Envy, Halifax’s sexiest literary purveyor, is putting on an LGBTQ Family Book Fair at Halifax North Memorial Public Library this Saturday.

Author S Bear Bergman will be reading at the event. Xtra readers will remember Bergman’s recent Kickstarter campaign and the launch of a new publishing house called Flamingo Rampant.

According to the Facebook event page,

The library will be showcasing the wonderful books they have in their collection and Venus Envy will be bringing along tons of children’s books for gender independent kids, children of queer parents, youth who are exploring their sexuality/gender identity, and great young adult fiction! All books will be available to purchase or check out of the library.

The LGBTQ Family Book Fair will be held in the program room on the main floor of the Halifax North Memorial Public Library. Free for all ages.
