GoodDykePorn.com wins awards

Vancouver’s own dyke porn producer picked up two prestigious awards at the first-ever Naked Truth Awards on June 9.

Gooddykeporn.com not only beat out a bunch of straight contenders for Favourite Adult Website, it also picked up the Performers’ Choice award.

“Receiving the Performers’ Choice award was especially sweet because in creating authentic representation of queer sexuality, I do my best to foster an environment of empowerment and freedom,” Bren Ryder (with performers Honey B and Big Booty B) told Xtra after the ceremony.

The awards show was produced by the nakedtruth.ca, an online community of adult entertainers designed to offer members a safe, supportive and “industry-inclusive” space to share.

“Being included in this mainstream, yet diverse, adult industry awards show was such an honour,” Ryder says.

Not to mention “a great opportunity to showcase the local dyke porn movement.”

On occasion, the number of editors and other staff who contribute to a story gets a little unwieldy to give a byline to everyone.
