The Glamazon Project

In honour of the upcoming season of RuPaul’s Drag Race, which premieres Feb 24, you can submit photos of yourself and your alter ego to The Glamazon Project, with a chance to be featured on OUTtv — the network that gives you Drag Race, on Mondays at 9pm.

Here are a few Vancouver queens who participated in the project:

Ryan Stewart as Valynne Vile: “Gamer by day, sexy villainess by night.”

Steven Carty as Raye Sunshine:“Even gym bunnies wear heels.”

Nathan McLean as Ivana Phoque: “Doing drag to me means being able to cross boundaries and bring a community together through the pride of who we are.”

Alex Petkov as Nicki Minaj: “When it comes to drag I am ferocious and I am ready to attack.”

Jaylene Tyme: “Drag is a state of mind . . . with the courage to draw outside the lines!”
