Pick of the week: Pansy! Rosé

A wine designed with the gay community in mind

There are times when I sit at the bar in my tight jeans and pink faux fur vest, listening to Britney and rearranging furniture in my head when I think to myself: “I just don’t feel gay enough.”

Luckily there’s a wine for that.

From the lush vineyards of New Zealand comes a wine designed with the gay community in mind. The husband and wife team that heads Kim Crawford Wines launched Pansy! at Sydney’s annual gay Mardi Gras back in 2004 as a way for to thank their gay Aussie friends in the industry.

As for the taste, it’s light and fruity — not unlike the staff at Celebrities.
