Dragon Boating
No experience necessary, but I bet swimming would be an asset. Get out on the water with Sisters in Sync, Vancouver’s dragonboat team for queer women (trans-inclusive). The team is recruiting new paddlers for the summer season. Bring a water bottle, sunglasses and a hat. The team goes out whatever the weather, so make sure you’re dressed for it. They meet on Tuesday and Thursday.

This is not your granny’s bingo: she would probably need an extra box of Depends to make it through a night like this. All Bingo proceeds go to the Vancouver Friends For Life Society, which helps people living with HIV and other illnesses.
