Nightlife

Cream

Ladies are invited to show off their leather jackets — it’s getting colder out, after all — at this monthly girl party. DJ KLR and a special guest spin both classics and the latest hits for a crowd of sexy booty shakers.

Friday, Oct 2, 10pm. Club 120, 120 Church St. facebook.com/creamtoronto

Vag Halen: Womyn, Wimmin, Women

The feminist rock band known for its attitude, art, philosophy and sex appeal, performs a “womyn only” set. Everyone is welcome to come, party and enjoy the music and Roxy Luchy’s projections.

Friday Oct 2 and 3, 10pm. Smiling Buddha, 961 College St. vaghalen.com

Big Primpin’: Bases Loaded

Revellers are invited to party like it’s 1993 — which is probably some sort of baseball or Blue Jays reference — with DJs Nino Brown and Sammy Royal spinning hip hop all night. For line bypass, email bigprimpin@gmail.com.

Friday, Oct 2, 10:30pm. Miss Thing’s, 1279 Queen St W. missthings.com

Sex

The New Wave

Because it pays to be educated when engaging in BDSM play, this edition of the monthly kink event for a younger crowd focuses on three workshops: Whips 101, Mental Health and Suicidality First AID, and Mummification: Sealing in the Freshness.

Saturday, Oct 3, 5pm. The Black Eagle, 457 Church St. blackeagletoronto.com
