Art Attack
All the fancy queers get gussied-up for an art auction in the Village. This year, Buddies’ annual fundraiser includes works by more than 30 Canadian artists. As ever, the Rock Hudson Memorial Tuck Shop sells limited-edition prints and slightly more affordable art oddities.

Forte Unzipped
Toronto Men’s Chorus performs for the first time as Toronto Gay Men’s Chorus. In honour of its (inevitable) coming out, the usually-austere choir loosens up the pink bowties for an evening of pop covers, ballads and hilarious (and slightly scandalous) acts.

Queer Slowdance: Folloween Edition
Olde tyme-queers-at-heart spend the evening swaying gently while holding onto strangers. Dance card booklets are available for those who want to schedule their dances in advance. Because it’s the weekend following Halloween, costumes are encouraged.
Saturday, Nov 7, 10pm. Dovercourt House, 805 Dovercourt Rd. For more info, visit Facebook.

Tapette: 3rd Annual Celine Dion Party
French Christmas comes but once a year (in the shape of a Celine Dion-themed dance party). This party includes Celine’s hits (some French pop, disco and house too, but, let’s face it, it’s mostly Celine), a performance by Celine queen Amanda Roberts, and Celine-themed giveaways.

Heart of the Storm
