Men’s Room Third Anniversary
It seems like only yesterday that the sex shop/salon/whatnot opened up above Woody’s. Now it’s celebrating three years of supplying the community with suspiciously sexy sports gear, ultra-manly shaving equipment, and stuff to shove up your ass. The party begins with drinks and entertainment in the shop, followed by a fashion show downstairs at Woody’s. The venue is not accessible.
8–11:30pm. The Men’s Room, 465 Church St (2nd floor). For more info, visit Facebook.

Toronto Queer Slowdance: Folloween Edition
What could be more terrifying than the prospect of walking into a room full of strangers and hoping one of them will dance with you? Luckily, this slow dance draws a friendly, diverse crowd, and designated dancers are on hand to coax out any wallflowers. Attendees are encouraged to wear their Halloween costumes, or something fabulous and inspired, or anything really. The venue is not accessible.
10pm–2:45am. Dovercourt House, 805 Dovercourt Rd. For more info, visit Facebook.
Jockstrap
Polish up those butt cheeks (or at least braid your ass hair into something interesting), because it’s time again for a jockstrap party. With Vancouver’s DJ Nick Bertossi on the decks, sexy guys dance and flirt while wearing jockstraps and hopefully nothing else. Or at least something skimpy and sexy. Get into the spirit of the thing. The venue is not accessible.
10pm–3am. Black Eagle, 457 Church St. For more info, visit Facebook.

Mindful Crochet: Sweaters!
After a hard night of dancing in a jockstrap or working the floor at a lesbian potluck, you might be in the mood for a low-key Sunday. At this event, the first in an eight-week series, attendees are encouraged to leave their worries behind and just crochet something. It’s billed as a great stress reliever. No experience or materials required — just bring yourself. The venue is accessible.
