Abby Stein: A Trans Woman’s Journey out of the Hasidic World

Abby Stein speaks about her journey as a trans woman who left Hasidic Judaism. This is followed by a multifaith panel discussion on the role of faith communities in Pride. The event is free, but you must register if you want to attend. The venue is accessible.

Fun Home

Based on Alison Bechdel’s best-selling graphic memoir, this musical chronicles the lesbian cartoonist’s life as she comes out and explores her complicated relationship with her dead father.

Trade: 5th Anniversary

One of the sexiest, raunchiest dance parties in the Village celebrates its fifth birthday with a great big bash and a special guest host. Includes dark room and patio. DJs Aeryn Pfaff and Scooter McCreight spin for the night’s debaucheries. The venue is not accessible.

Lavender 2.0

TCAF Queer Mixer 2018

Glad Day once against hosts the queer mixer that is companion to the Toronto Comic Arts Festival. Mingle with your favourite queer cartoonists and other lovers of comics. This year’s host is Anne Ishii of MASSIVE. Door prizes will abound. The venue is accessible.

Boner with Teddy Bear

Men (and men only) are invited to pig out in every way possible at this sex-positive dance party. As billing says, this is a party where you can “do whatever you damn well please.” Features DJ Jeremy Khamkeo and special guest pornstar Teddy Bear. Beaver DAMN!

Help BoylesqueTO, Toronto’s all-male burlesque troupe, head to Las Vegas to compete for “best large group” at the Burlesque Hall of Fame. The boys are eager to bring their Beaver act to Sin City, but Vegas ain’t cheap, so this burlesque show will raise funds for the trip.
