The Gay Cowboy Roadshow

This posse of gay country music artists has a new take on an old genre. Paisley Fields (a “queer country band”), Drake Jensen and Patrick Masse are playing this gig at the Dakota Tavern.

Fun Home

Based on Alison Bechdel’s best-selling graphic memoir, the musical is about a 43 year-old lesbian cartoonist who navigates her complex relationship with her dead father.

Kings and Classics: Fierce Edition

A monthly drag king night goes all out to raise funds for Fierce! International Queer Burlesque Festival. The event features up-and-coming drag kings including Johnny Ryder, Jaykubs and Romeo Vazquez. The venue is accessible.

One of the city’s most popular dance parties for queer women and their friends heads to a new venue this month. There will be lots of areas to sit and mingle or shake your butts. Soundtrack provided by DJs Sticky Cuts and KLR.

Fit: Our 100th Party

The We’re Funny That Way Gayla Gala

The annual We’re Funny That Way queer comedy festival kicks off with a gala to benefit Rainbow Railroad. The glamorous gala includes a 90-minute variety show featuring such performers as Gavin Crawford, Ryan Hinds and Sharron Matthews.
