Lineup announced for LGBT Short Film Fest

Toronto Pride kicks off in a couple days, which means now would be an excellent time to start carbo-loading. Or are you supposed to stop eating solid food? Pride preparations confuse me. (Do Pop-Tarts count as solid food? Because if they do . . . shit. Shit and fuck.)

Anyway, for the second year in a row, the Canadian Media Guild is sponsoring the Toronto Pride LGBT Short Film Festival, a six-day event playing at the Graham Spry Theatre, at 250 Front St W. Admission is free, and the lineup features 12 films, ranging from documentary to comedy to drama.

  • I’m Yours, by Chase Joynt – 5 minutes / documentary / 2013
  • Her with Me, by Alyssa Pankiw – 13 minutes / drama / 2013
  • Let’s Get Soaking Wet, by Steven Bereznai – 7 minutes / comedy / 2011
  • Flyers, by Laura Terruso – 3 minutes / drama-comedy / 2011

  • Where Are the Dolls, by Cassandra Nicolaou – 8 minutes / drama-experimental / 2012
